Just 5 km (3 miles) away from our hotel lies the 18-hole Gailtal Golf Course to excite golfers of all handicap ranges on an area of over 70 hectares. Completed in 2009, the wide and mainly flat fairways and greens allow players to achieve a good score. The island green at the 7th hole is considered a special challenge even for experienced golfers.
Anyone interested in this sport can learn how to play golf at the golf course Nassfeld-Golf. More experienced players can improve their handicap on a purpose built 6-hole practice area (par 3) with an area of 50,000m², a 10,000 m² pitch and chip area, a 270m driving range and a 920m² putting green. There is also a clubhouse with an office, golf shop, changing-rooms and bathrooms, as well as a restaurant for all players.
Within only an hour by car you will find another 4 golf courses in Carinthia, one in East Tyrol and one in Italy.
